I think we should do whatever makes us happy in January and save the reform for February. Which is at least shorter. I bought a pair of shiny Donald Pliner monk strap shoes last year and I love them. I also love your Converse sneakers, which are the energy we need in this world!
You are absolutely pulling off those Chelsea boots and simultaneously making me want a pair. I have an almost identical outfit to your barrel jeans with the black Quince sweater except my sweater is gray and I love it so much because it feels very me. One of our fashion professors complimented my barrel jeans recently and I felt very smug (and secretly very pleased). (Why don't I have the black version of the Quince sweater? I do not know. Must remedy).
Happy birthday! Love the dinner in Portland outfit and the big jeans in general, I think I need a pair of something other than millennial skinnies but haven’t been able to psych myself up for it yet. I have thrifted and poshed a bunch and am trying to be ok with it because January is INTERMINABLE and challenging and I apparently needed a leopard print dress and some weird blazers and a necklace to get through it. Here’s to February: it might be more of the same but at least it’s a short month!

You are most definitely pulling off the white Chelsea boots. Second best outfit in the post, after going-out night.
Yes, January. Great to hear from you. Very jelly of the Slade blazer. Looks fab!
Keep an eye on The Realreal for a Slade blazer! (That's where I got mine.)
