You should buy that Boden trench asap. That stripe in the back sets it apart, and it was pretty cute even without that stripe. We've had some days on the 50s here in chicago, and I've already gotten out my spring jackets just for the pleasure of putting them on. Today I wore short sleeves!
I think the Handball Spezials are more comfortable than the Gazelles - the Gazelles have a stiff, plasticky tongue and the Spezials have a soft tongue and more arch support. I have a pair of each and reach for the Spezials way more often.
It's been fake spring in Chicago as well, which is more like temperatures above 40, so I've been obsessing over finding a knee-length or longer charcoal grey wool coat that bridges the gap between my super warm long sleeping bag of a winter coat and rain/trench coat.

Have you considered a cropped button down (button up? What's the diff??). Evereve has one in a nice brown/white pinstripe a well as a blue for more traditional. Love the jacket but WAY too tent-y. I put that Rag and Bone short trench in my cart two days ago and couldn’t decide whether it was a no or a go. This is the review I needed!
