I can't believe you saw Morphine live- I discovered them via news/radio play the day Mark Sandman died.
I bought the 2023 Bonne Maman advent calendar, and learned how little I eat jam! I still have four or five kicking around (they're all fine, they're all mostly genericly sweet). Happy end of the year!
I bought the Bonne Maman advent calendar last year and totally agree. We still have 10+ jars sitting in the pantry a year later. I've been trying to remember to pull out one here and there if we make a cheese plate because some of the weird flavors are more palatable as a garnish to cheese and charcuterie.
I gave a few empty jars to my nieces for their play kitchen and use the rest for little kitchen odds and ends (single serving of salad dressing, an extra tbsp of a spice rub, etc).
I love/hate that Bonne Maman advent calendar. On one hand, a few of them are delightful to a jam-lover like myself. (“Huh, turns out I like quince!”)
BUT, this is the 2nd year my daughter bought it for me and honestly I think I have some unopened jars from last year. We love it at first but lose interest on about day 8 or so.
Plus, I refuse to throw away those cute little jars (“I’ll use them for travel!”, I lied to myself) so there’s that too. Anyone want a dozen or so tiny heavy glass jars?
I watched a TON of TikTok’s about advent calendar’s this year and the only 1 that piqued my interest was a Papier stationary advent calendar. But I cannot justify mini notepads and todo lists when my beloved is the 4x4 lined Post It. LOL

It is just a startling amount of jam.
Oh my God Morphine. ♥️

Ooo, Post-It should do a fun Advent calendar.
Good grief I am such a sucker. 🤦♀️
Haha, this is what I was talking about in Going Full Crone, though I've always been a big fan of "clown pants." So happy you are happy being you.
Also, what do you do with 24 tiny glass jars? I wouldn't want to travel with glass. In my old age I want to recycle EVERYTHING.
I’ll reuse a few for my packed lunches - perfect size for condiments.
Glass jars are recyclable! Or give them to a niece
They have to be empty first! It's more of a jam commitment than I expected.
