Great tips thanks! A question about the Everlane dress — is it really oversized as the description says? Per the measurements it seems not-so-oversized.

It isn’t - I took my normal size.

Thanks for all of the tips! The STRAAT Museum is at the top of my list because I've visited the Anne Frank museum, Rijksmuseum, and Van Gogh museum on a prior trip. I also love a market so much and was saying to my husband that we needed to visit one so I could have fries and he could eat herring, so you've already figured out my lunch for me while I am a jet-lagged mess on Saturday.

Yay! Have the best time. The good fries at the market were on the opposite end from the herring vendor (at least, that's the set up when I was there.) The Portuguese tarts are also very good.

I'm super impressed that you BOTH re-read Diary of Anne Frank before you went. I would be laughed out of the room if I suggested that. lol. The pics are beautiful. Glad you had a great time and that you can walk around Europe with regular shoes and not your sad boot anymore.

Oh, you have no idea how happy I was to just be able to walk around like a regular person!

I'm so glad you had a good time! My week in Amsterdam is definitely in the top five vacations I've ever taken. possibly the only major European city where I didn't feel like somebody was trying to sell me something every time I went for a walk. Also, I thought the food, both Dutch and Indonesian was amazing.
