Ok, so I loved The Lost Story but I think it's a book for a very specific mood and not one that you want to pick up and put down a lot. If you liked Narnia as a kid, you'll likely enjoy it, but it's very different than a lot of books for adults. In my opinion, it's best read when you are having a couch rot day and want to just get lost from reality.
I read several of Elly Griffith's Ruth Gladstone novels and really enjoyed them. Cannot wait to read Frozen People. Love Lisa Jewell. I am currently reading a series by AJ Pearce series called the Emmy Lake Chronicles. Takes place in London during WWII. Easy read but some heavy things happen (of course). .
I love Elly Griffiths so I’ll have to read this—thanks for sharing it! I’ve got 1 book left in the Ruth Galloway series, and I’m not ready to read it because I’m not ready for the series to end. Lisa Jewell is another big favorite for me; her books are just always a must read for me.
I finally finished The Women and I was so mad through the entire book! But it was worth it. Now I am resetting with a nice middle grade book, Verity Vox and the Curse of Foxfire. I really need to give Lise Jewell a read, I don't think any of her work has made it off my TBR yet.

Thank you! I was OBSESSED with the Chronicles of Narnia as a kid so I should probably give it another shot.
Adding The Frozen People to my reading list right now!
I think you'll really like it!

Elly Griffiths can do no wrong. It's one of those books where you think the only thing that could improve the story is time travel, and she does it.
This is the first of hers I've read! I can't wait to check out her other books.

For Lisa Jewell, I can definitely recommend The Family Upstairs (and it's satisfying sequel The Family Remains.)
I was just updating my TBR and I DNF'd None of this is True. But I am willing to give Lisa another chance!
None of this is True was not my favorite of hers. Try a different one!
