You asked for the input so here it is - I am interested in everything! What you’re reading, watching, buying (and returning) and where you’re traveling. I would love some mini-reviews of the books as I forever struggle with filling my TBR list. Would love to learn about your vacation destinations so that I too can get inspired. Happy 2025!
Ditto to the above, everything is great! I love reading about people’s travel, beauty routines, commutes, house projects, reading and exercise habits, and outfit photos and reviews.
I am always thrilled to see what you’re reading and read your honest reviews. Also love seeing your outfits! It would be fun to read more about what you are finding interesting/inspiring as well, even if you’re not buying much (anything).
I care about & enjoy everything you write. Lately, I'm especially interested to hear about your lifting/ walking - exercise in general. but it's all good! & I am so with you on your last point about news consumption.
THAT CAT! More feline content please! My big fluffy brown tabby makes the best space heater when it is three actual degrees outside.
I hear you on the news. I’m trying to focus my attention and energy on where they actually have impact. Arguing and anxious spirals do no good for me or anyone else, and all those clicks and eyeballs on infuriating stories just make someone else a lot of money.
Clothing reviews / outfit posts are my favorite thing you write. I would also like to see the clothes you didn't like and returned - because I might be contemplating buying the same things.
Also I have a very similar workout routine as you. Does the place you lift weights have treadmills? I up my steps by doing a 20min walk on the treadmill before every weights workout. I "save" a good YouTube video I'm excited to watch (or Netflix episode) to watch on the treadmill and that helps me not skip it.
Thanks! I’ll definitely post about what I returned. And no, my gym doesn’t have treadmills, unfortunately. It’s a class structure, so I can’t go whenever, only when there’s a class.
I am super happy with what you post - books, outfits, favorite things, also struggles of a women heading into the second half of life (because so am I). I don't usually pay for subscriptions, because there would be so many (just like streaming). My 2 cents!
I still love outfit posts. I like seeing the stuff you buy because of your honest reviews. And I would prefer that you stick with affiliate links rather than paid subscriptions.
If you figure out how to establish a non-boring stretching and rolling routine please teach me your ways. I am Decidedly Not Bendy and struggle with this.
Love you clothes reviews, book reviews a d workout posts. Also love your travel posts incl around your town - it's encouraging me to get out and check out things to do where I live.
Count me in as another fan of your writing—I enjoy it all. Your book recommendations are SO good & I love reading your summaries & thoughts. You’re a Tana French fan—of course I love your book recommendations! Please keep sharing travels, whatever is on your mind, and a little fashion too. It’s all worth reading!
I forgot to add this last night, but I also appreciate your talking about what’s happening in our country. It’s good to read comments from someone like-minded but I also appreciate that you do it in small doses. You’re right, I think, about being mindful of not letting it consume us. There are days when it gets to me so badly—gosh, I was often a mess during his first term. But I need to pace myself and try to find ways to do what I can to help & resist but also not let it make me miserable (saying this with full recognition that I do come from a place of privilege).
I don't generally write too much about the political climate it because so many people are doing it better than I can (and also yes, I'm coming from a place of privilege) but oof, the elephant in the room is HUGE these days and it feels tone-deaf to not acknowledge it.

I like it all. It's like having a conversation with a girlfriend - you just talk about all the everyday stuff that is life.

Girl, you don't wish you were in Richmond today! Wintry mix ... you know the drill. UGH.

1. Oh my god that is the cutest cat ever.
2. Why do you call them “dumb little walks?”
That’s Daniel! He’s the best. My “dumb little walks” is a holdover from the pandemic when I walked every morning because it was all I could do.
Great goals, every one! I’m also adding “connect with friends more often” to my list.
That’s a good one!
I particularly enjoy your book reviews, and hearing about your travel!
